These sessions are designed to give you a time to come together with others and dust off a ruler you may have or experience one you have been wanting to learn. The goal also is to give you several options as to how the ruler can be used if you need inspiration.
Featured rulers for second quarter are the Creative Grids Ultimate Flying Geese Tool, Strippy Star or any tumbler ruler (free patterns available with class)
These rulers can be used to create beautiful flag inspired quilts, wall hangings, table runners or toppers and placemats. Pattern suggestions Salute uses the Ultimate Flying Geese Tool and the Strippy Star. Attendees of the sessions will receive instructions for various sizes of flags using a tumbler ruler.
Creative Grids Cat’s Cradle
One way to use is to create blocks for a stunning star that can be used in various ways as a table runner or multiplied into a quilt.

If you have another ruler to try and need help, please let me know what it is before hand. I probably either have it or can do some research to be of help.
